When Swiss Diversity calls, you don’t just say “yes” – you say “HELL YES” and dive headfirst into sequins, wigs, and full-on personality! ✨
I followed the invitation to the Schauspielhaus Zurich with huge excitement – because the dress code promised everything but restraint: sequins, feather boas, wigs – no limits, only self-expression! And that was my cue to go all out.

More is More
I chose a tight nude sequin dress that not only sparkled but also beautifully accentuated my curves. Add to that a bold purple wig, loads of glitter on my face, and a wide smile – because when you celebrate yourself, you shine the brightest!
Right from the reception in the Pfauenfoyer, it was clear: this night would be magical. Vibrant looks, open hearts, inspiring people – it was a celebration of diversity, just as it should be. The wonderful Manuela Frey hosted the evening with style and heart, creating an atmosphere full of appreciation, humor, and glamour.
“The Little Mermaid” – A Fairytale Reimagined
Afterwards, we headed into the performance of The Little Mermaid – and what can I say? I was blown away! This reinterpretation of the classic hit me right in the feels.
The production was poetic, intense, and bold – far from Disney kitsch, but full of emotion and depth. It explored longing, belonging, identity – themes that couldn’t be more relevant today. What moved me most was the question: How far would we go to be our true selves??
The performers created a world where boundaries blurred – between human and sea, between reality and fantasy. For me, it wasn’t just a night at the theatre, it was an experience that stays with you.
Glitter, Goosebumps & Grand Emotions
This evening was more than just an event – it was a statement for diversity, creativity, and self-expression. I’m grateful to have been part of it and am taking home a lot of sparkle, depth, and inspiration.
And to everyone out there: dare to be colorful. Loud. Glittery. Yourself. 💜🧜♀️✨
